Maruti Vitara Brezza has been a huge success for Maruti Suzuki since its launch in March 2015.Despite being available only in diesel engine with manual transmission,it provided a new definition to the sub4-metre compact segment cars with its high sales mark.It recently received major update in the form of Diesel automatic with new safety features and colour options on offer.However,the facelift didn’t result in the introduction of petrol engine.We are expecting that Maruti may launch the petrol brezza somewhere around January-February next year.Here are complete details about New 2019 Maruti Brezza petrol:
Maruti Brezza Petrol – DIMENSIONS
In terms of specifications,petrol version of brezza will not receive any change.Dimensionally,it will measure the same as Brezza diesel,which has a length of 3995 mm,width of 1790 mm,is 1640 mm tall,wheelbase is 2500 mm with a bootspace of 328 litres with a ground clearance 198 mm.

Maruti Brezza Petrol – EXTERIOR
In terms of design,it will be exactly similar to the current diesel derivative.The only difference would be the variant badging on the boot lid.Otherwise,Brezza would continue with same majuscular front design with projector headlamps with DRLs and chrome accents on front grille.Rear of the car will feature LED tail lamps,with chrome working on some elements and faux skid plates at both front and rear.
Maruti Brezza Petrol – INTERIOR
Like the exterior,cabin of brezza will look equally identical and continue with all black upholstery along with contrasting silver inserts.Here the difference would be in the rpm meter which would have a limit upto 8000 rpm.We will not expect rear ac vent in petrol unit.
Maruti Brezza Petrol – ENGINE OPTIONS
Most probably Maruti is going to fit the Maruti Brezza with a 1.0L booster jet petrol engine which also powers the Baleno RS producing 110 bhp of power with 170 nm of maximum torque.As Brezza is heavier than Baleno RS,we believe that the SUV will return mileage slightly less than Baleno RS’s 21 kmpl at around 18 kmpl. This engine will send power to 5 speed manual and Amt transmission.Maruti may use the new 1.5L in-house developed petrol engine which will be powering the Upcoming New Ertiga and Ciaz Facelift.

Top model of petrol brezza will come with host of features like Cruise Controls,Auto AC,Cooled Glove Box,Suzuki’s Touchscreen Infotainment System with Apple Carplay,Android Auto and others.Other features include Electrically adjustable ORVMs,Voice Command,16-inch Alloys,Auto Headlamps,Footwell lighting,5-step colour speedometer,60;40 split seats,Engine Push Start/Stop with Keyless Entry.

With the recent update in Vitara Brezza,standard safety features have increased.These safety features including Dual airbags,ABS with EBD,reverse parking sensors and more will be offered as standard across all models of Brezza petrol.While the top-loaded trim will get safety features like Rear Defogger,Reverse Parking Camera with Sensors,Rain Sensing Wipers,Rear Wiper+Washer,Front Fog Lamps.

Maruti Brezza Petrol – PRICE
Presently,the base model of Brezza,that is,LDI,is priced Rs. 7.28 Lakhs(Ex-Showroom,Delhi) and goes upto Rs. 9.95 Lakhs(Ex-Showroom,Delhi) for the top of the line fully loaded model.As the pricing of petrol models is slightly on the lower side as compared to diesel models,we can expect that Brezza petrol launches with a price tag of Rs. 6.4 lakhs – Rs. 9 Lakhs.
Maruti Brezza Petrol – LAUNCH DATE
As Maruti has many cars in queue to be launched in the phase of 2018-19 including Maruti Ciaz Facelift,Maruti Zen,New Ertiga and others,new brezza is expected to debut in the first half of 2019.
