Mercedes-Benz launched the electric EQE SUV at Rs. 1.30 Crore with the Indian version getting the 56-inch Hyperscreen Infotainment System and the off-road package as standard.

The Mercedes EQE SUV maintains the signature styling seen in the brand’s other electric vehicles, featuring sleek lines and smooth contours throughout its body. It features functional design elements borrowed from its electric counterparts, including aerodynamic wheels and a closed front grille. The SUV is equipped with 20-inch wheels and an air suspension system that can elevate the SUV’s ride height by 25 MM, the EQE SUV offers ample size, measuring 4863 MM in length, 2141 MM in width, 1685 MM in height, and boasting a 3030 MM wheelbase.

Inside the EQE SUV, the standard 56-inch Hyperscreen infotainment dashboard by Mercedes-Benz takes center stage. The dashboard comprises three interconnected screens, connected by the robust tempered glass. These screens not only serve as information displays for the driver but also provide entertainment options for both the passenger and the central infotainment unit. The EQE is loaded with an array of features, including ADAS, a premium 15-speaker Burmester sound system, a high-efficiency particulate air (HEPA) filter for the cabin, and luxurious massage functions for the front seats.

The EQE SUV comes with a dual motor all wheel drive setup with the off-road package as standard. The SUV is equipped with a 90.56 kWh battery pack producing 402.41 BHP and 858 NM of torque with claimed range of 550 KM, and it can go from 0 – 100 kmph in just 4.9 seconds at a top speed of 210 kmph. It’ll come with a 11 kW AC Charger but supports charging speeds up to 170 kW of DC Fast Charging. Moreover, the EQE SUV will come with a 10 year warranty for the battery pack.

The Mercedes-Benz EQE 500 SUV will be sold as a CBU unit in India and will rival other luxury electric SUV like the BMW iX, Jaguar I-Pace, and Audi Q8 e-tron.
