MG Motors has introduced its third BlackStorm Edition to its line-up, the Hector BlackStorm which is priced from Rs. 21.25 Lakh for the Petrol CVT variant, and Rs. 22.76 Lakh for the Diesel Manual variant.
After the Gloster and the Astor, the Hector is the third SUV to get the BlackStorm Edition in the line-up. Distinguishing itself with a sleek appearance, the Hector Blackstorm Edition replaces the conventional chrome accents with a gun-metal finish highlighted by red accents across various elements such as the grille, MG logo, bumper lining, door cladding, rear trim, and faux skid plates.

The headlamps and tail lamps receive a smoked-out treatment, while red accents adorn the wing mirrors, headlamp enclosures, and brake calipers. Glossy black finishes adorn the 18-inch alloys and roof rails, further enhancing its visual appeal. Additionally, customers have the option to add a ‘Blackstorm’ emblem on the front fenders at no additional cost through dealership customization.
Inside the cabin, the Hector adopts an all-black theme complemented by gun metal accents on the center console, AC vents, door trims, and steering wheel. The seats feature black leatherette upholstery with ‘Blackstorm’ embossing on the front headrests, rounding off the sophisticated interior ambiance. The BlackStorm Edition is based on the second top trim, “Sharp Pro”; and comes equipped with features such as 14-inch Portrait-oriented Infotainment System with Wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto, Panoramic Sunroof, Digital Instrument Cluster, Wireless Phone Charger, and more.
Moreover, the SUV is available with 2 Options – 2.0 L Diesel producing 168 BHP, 350 NM Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual Gearbox; and then there is the 1.5 L Turbo Petrol engine generating 141 BHP, 250 NM Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual, and CVT Gearbox. The Petrol BlackStorm Edition doesn’t get the Manual variants, only exclusive to CVT only.
The BlackStorm Edition is available with 5, 6, or 7-Seater Configuration.
