Mahindra is in the final stages of testing its XUV300 Facelift, with recent sightings of test mules indicating that the launch is imminent, likely to happen in the coming weeks. This article provides a comprehensive overview of the updates and enhancements featured in this upcoming SUV.
The exterior of the XUV300 Facelift will undergo significant changes compared to its predecessor. It will sport large new C-shaped LED DRLs, reminiscent of the ones seen on the concept BE.05 electric SUV. The front grille will be redesigned with a closed front grille, complemented by new bumpers, a flatter bonnet, and a fresh set of 16-inch alloy wheels. The rear end will feature striking new C-shaped connected LED taillamps.

Inside, notable updates include a larger freestanding 10.25-inch infotainment system, replacing the outgoing 7-inch display. The four-spoke steering wheel will be retained from the previous version, while the AC vent will be positioned below the infotainment system. The center console will also undergo revisions. Additionally, the XUV300 Facelift will introduce a first-in-segment panoramic sunroof and a new 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Cluster displaying maps. Rear passengers will benefit from AC vents and reclinable seats.

In terms of engine options, Mahindra will offer three choices: a 1.2 L 3-cylinder turbo petrol producing 108.62 BHP and 200 NM of torque, available with both 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes; another 1.2 L 3-cylinder turbo petrol generating 128.73 BHP and 230 NM of torque, also paired with 6-speed manual and automatic transmissions; and a 1.5 L turbo diesel engine producing 115.05 BHP and 300 NM of torque, mated to 6-speed manual and automatic gearboxes.
The XUV300 Facelift will introduce new features such as Level 1 ADAS, a 360° Surround View Camera, 6 airbags, ventilated seats, rear AC vents, panoramic sunroof, air purifier, and powered driver seat, in addition to existing features like 2-zone climate control, rear disc brakes, and height-adjustable front seat belts.
Mahindra is anticipated to launch the XUV300 Facelift between February and March 2024, with an expected starting price of Rs. 8.50 lakh. It will compete with rivals such as the Kia Sonet, Tata Nexon, Hyundai Venue, Maruti Brezza, and others.
