Tata Harrier and the Mahindra XUV700 has received another new rival in the form of a chinese SUV, the Neta L. This SUV delivers 1300 KMs Range on a single charge making it one of the best choice for the people.
Hozon Auto’s Neta L EV crossover has launched in the China with a starting price of 139,900 yuan (approximately Rs. 16,40,000). This five-seater SUV features CATL’s Shenxing LFP battery, offering a range of 510 KMs and powered by a single rear axle e-motor producing 224 bhp.

In appearance, the Neta L EV maintains the design elements of the EREV variant. It features LED headlights, retractable door handles, a slanted roofline, and a single taillight unit. The dimensions of the Neta L EV are 4770 mm in length, 1900 mm in width, and 1660 mm in height, with a wheelbase of 2810 mm.
Inside, the entry-level Neta L is equipped with a single 15.6-inch screen and a small LCD screen mounted behind the D-shaped steering wheel. The gear shifter is concealed behind the wheel. The center tunnel includes two cup holders and a wireless charging pad. The top-trim level boasts a single cluster composed of two 15.6-inch monitors, resembling the design of Li Auto cars. Additional features in the L SUV include 16 speakers, a fridge, and a foldable table in the front passenger seat.
The Neta L EV is powered by a 170-kW (224 bhp) electric motor mounted on the rear axle, delivering peak torque of 310 Nm. This electric crossover accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 7.6 seconds. The vehicle’s CATL Shenxing LFP battery pack has a capacity of 68 kWh, enabling a range of up to 510 km on a single charge. The battery can be charged from 10% to 80% in just 21 minutes. For comparison, the top-trim Neta L EREV features a 30-kWh pack from CATL for 210 km, with a combined range of up to 1300 km.
Lastly, the main question everyone wants to ask, is it coming to India? Most probably no because by the time it launches this SUV in India, the segment will be likely dominated the Harrier EV, and the XUV.e8, and may not be able to pull through.
