The upcoming New Maruti Dzire has been spotted undisguised ahead of its official launch on November 11. This 4th-generation compact sedan brings a major design and feature upgrade over its predecessor, enhancing its appeal over the Swift, which launched in May.

In terms of design, the New Maruti Dzire offers a reworked front grille, a reshaped bonnet, and a sleek black chrome accent that connects sharper LED DRLs, creating a seamless and modern look. The headlamps now feature multi-reflectors, complemented by fog lamps and refreshed front and rear bumpers. From the side, the sedan showcases a stylish new alloy wheel design, chrome door handles, and cameras integrated into the ORVMs to support the 360-degree view. The rear has been refined with updated LED tail-lamps that include a Y-shaped detail and a redesigned tailgate. The spy shots reveal the sedan in both Red and Blue color options.
Inside, the New Maruti Dzire mirrors Maruti’s signature modern layout, including a 9-inch floating touchscreen infotainment system with Wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility. The dashboard features a trapezoidal AC vent design, and the analog instrument cluster includes a 3.2-inch MID display for additional driving information. Notably, the New Maruti Dzire becomes the first in its segment to feature a single-pane sunroof.

Under the hood, the New Maruti Dzire is powered by Maruti’s new 1.2L Z12E 3-cylinder petrol engine, designed for high fuel efficiency. This engine delivers 80.46 BHP and 111.7 Nm of torque. Buyers can choose between a 5-speed manual transmission (MT) and a 5-speed automated manual transmission (AMT).
Additionally, a CNG variant is expected later, providing 68.5 BHP and 101.8 Nm of torque, paired with a 5-speed MT.
The new Dzire is expected to have a lot of features over its outgoing version such as 9-inch Infotainment System with Wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto, rear AC Vent, Single-Pane Sunroof, Wireless Charging Pad, Automatic Climate Control, Fast-Charging USB Type-C Port, and a bit more.
Safety-wise, it’ll be equipped with 360 Surround View Camera with Rear Parking Sensors, 6 Airbags, ABS with EBD, Hill Start Assist, Cruise Control, Front Disc Brakes, etc.
Considering these extensive upgrades, the New Maruti Dzire is expected to be priced from Rs. 6.50 lakh for the base variant to around Rs. 10 lakh for the top model. The current Dzire model is priced between Rs. 6.57 lakh and Rs. 9.34 lakh, making the new model a compelling choice in the compact sedan segment.
