A New Rs. 8 Lakh XUV3XO SUV from Skoda will be launching before the March 2025 deadline to take on the popular SUV in segment such as Tata Nexon, Maruti Brezza and Fronx, Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, etc. Here’s everything you need to know about Skoda’s new Sub 4-Meter SUV before it officially launches!
The new Skoda SUV boasts a modern and dynamic design. Up front, it features twin-pod LED headlights and a sculpted lower bumper, complemented by a clamshell bonnet for a rugged look. The sizable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators enhance the vehicle’s appeal. From the side, a robust shoulder line, thick C-pillars, black-finished roof rails, and body cladding add to its crossover aesthetic. Additionally, new block-design alloy wheels give it a distinctive edge. The rear design elements mirror those of the Kushaq, with striking L-shaped LED signature lights.

Inside, the SUV’s interior is reminiscent of the Kushaq, but as a mid-variant, it includes a 10-inch dash-mounted infotainment system. Adjacent to this is a glossy black 2-spoke steering wheel, and behind it, an analog instrument cluster is likely. The dashboard layout and center console are similar to the Kushaq’s. Expect leatherette upholstery for the seats, and a dual-tone treatment for the dashboard and cabin.

The upcoming new Skoda SUV is expected to be powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, delivering 113.98 BHP and 178 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The SUV is anticipated to have a fuel efficiency between 20 to 22 KMPL.
Features-wise, the SUV anticipated to offer a wireless charging pad, automatic climate control, a single-pane sunroof (with a possibility of a panoramic one given the trend), 10.25-inch Infotainment, Fully Digital Cluster, Rear Sunshades, Powered Driver Seat, and possibly Electric Parking Brake. Safety features will include six airbags as standard across all trims, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, a 360 Surround View camera, front & rear parking sensors, TPMS, and all wheels disc brakes. It’s possible that Skoda may also offer ADAS with the SUV given 3 of its rival is already equipped with this feature.
The new Skoda SUV is expected to be priced between Rs. 8 to Rs. 15 lakhs, reflecting its extensive range of new features, and powerful performance. Set for launch in March 2025, this SUV will compete with models like the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV3X0, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza and Fronx, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
