Skoda’s upcoming new compacted SUV, Karoq was spotted yet again undergoing tests in Maharashtra with reveal coming in January 2025 and launch taking place as per the timeline, March 2025. Here’s everything you need to before its official launch!
The Karoq features a modern and dynamic design with twin-pod LED headlights, a sculpted lower bumper, and a clamshell bonnet for a rugged look. Sizable ORVMs with integrated turn indicators enhance its appeal. A robust shoulder line, thick C-pillars, black-finished roof rails, and body cladding contribute to its crossover aesthetic. New block-design alloy wheels give it a distinctive edge, while the rear mirrors the Kushaq with striking L-shaped LED lights.

Inside, the Karoq interior is similar to the Kushaq, featuring a 10-inch dash-mounted infotainment system, a glossy black 2-spoke steering wheel, and an analog instrument cluster. The dashboard layout and center console are akin to the Kushaq’s, with leatherette upholstery and a dual-tone treatment for the dashboard and cabin.

The upcoming Karoq is expected to be powered by a 1.0L 3-cylinder turbo petrol engine, delivering 113.98 BHP and 178 Nm of torque. This engine will be paired with either a 6-speed manual or automatic gearbox. The SUV is anticipated to have a fuel efficiency between 20 to 22 KMPL.
The Karoq is expected to offer a wireless charging pad, automatic climate control, a single-pane sunroof (potentially panoramic), a 10.25-inch infotainment system, a fully digital cluster, rear sunshades, a powered driver seat, and possibly an electric parking brake. Safety features include six airbags, ABS with EBD, ESC, traction control, a 360-degree camera, parking sensors, TPMS, and all-wheel disc brakes. ADAS might also be offered.
It’s anticipated to be priced between Rs. 8 to Rs. 15 lakhs, the new Skoda Karoq is set to launch in March 2025. It will compete with the Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV3X0, Kia Sonet, Maruti Brezza and Fronx, Renault Kiger, and Nissan Magnite.
