Ahead of its official launch on June 7th, the new Altroz Racer have started arriving at the dealerships, and one of the trims in Avenue White Colour has been spied for the first time.
Tata Motors tomorrow on June 7th will be launching the Altroz Racer in three variants – R1, R2, and R3. It’ll get 3 Dual-Tone Colour Options – Atomic Orange, Avenue White, and Pure Grey; and all these 3 have racing stripes on roof, and bonnet.

In Engine Options, the sporty hatchback comes powered by the 1.2 L 3 Cylinder Turbo Petrol, taken from the Nexon, delivers 118.35 BHP and 170 NM Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual Transmission only. In comparison to its rival, the Hyundai i20 N-Line gets 1.0 L 3 Cylinder Turbo Petrol engine delivering 118.35 BHP and 172 NM Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual and 7 Speed DCT Transmission.
Feature-wise, the R1 trim has Projector Headlamps, LED DRLs, Front Fog Lamps, 16-inch alloy wheels, Rear Wiper & Washer, Rear Defogger, Electrically Adjustable & Auto Folding ORVMs, Rain-Sensing Wipers, 10.25-inch Infotainment System, 4-inch Digital Cluster, Auto Climate Control, 8 Speakers, rear AC vents, Cruise Control, Height Adjustable Driver Sear, and Auto Headlamps
The R2 trim gets additional features such as Wireless Charging Pad, Voice Activated Sunroof, 7-inch TFT Digital Instrument Cluster, 360 Surround View Camera, Blind View Monitor, and Xpress Cool. Top-spec trim, R3 trim gets Air Purifier, Front Ventilated Seats, and iRA Connected Car Features.
Along with the Altroz Racer, the standard Altroz will also get updated with 10.25-inch Infotainment, 360 Surround View Camera, 7-inch TFT Digital Cluster, etc. exclusive to top-spec trim only, but won’t get features like ventilated seats. Moreover, they’ve discontinued the 1.2 L Turbo Petrol leaving the premium hatchback with 3 Options – 1.2 L Petrol, 1.5 L Diesel, and 1.2 L CNG with Transmission choices being 6 Speed Manual and 7 Speed DCT Gearbox.
