Tata has been spied yet again, but this time, it’s the Harrier EV that’s spotted undergoing tests. In this article, let’s uncover all the details we have about this electric SUV so far!
Tata Harrier EV Spied: All Details!
Tata had first debuted the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo 2023, and then a year later at the Bharat Mobility Expo held in February 2024, the company showcased the production version of the EV. Today, the Harrier EV was spotted undergoing tests revealing key details.

Taking cues from the concept showcased at the January 2023 Auto Expo, the Harrier EV retains most of its design elements, including a closed front grille with four horizontal lines, faux skid plates at the front and rear, connected LED DRLs, and vertically-split LED projector headlamps. Notable additions include new 19-inch alloy wheels and distinct EV badging. At the rear, the S-shaped LED tail-lamps and carbon black bumper remain intact.
Notably, we’ve seen the Harrier EV with a rear-axle mounted electric motor suggesting that the electric SUV will indeed come with All-Wheel-Drive (AWD).
Inside, the Harrier EV is expected to mimic its ICE counterpart, featuring a 12.3-inch infotainment system, touch-sensitive HVAC controls, a 4-spoke steering wheel adorned with an illuminated Tata logo, and a 10.25-inch digital cockpit cluster. The center console hosts controls for drive shift and drive modes, along with an electric parking brake, and two cupholders in front.
Technical specs aren’t revealed yet, but given it’s built on the Acti.ev platform, it should have more than 500 KMs Range.
Features-wise, the Harrier EV will boast plethora of features such as Dual-Zone Climate Control, Panoramic Sunroof, 12.3-inch Infotainment System, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Cluster, Front Powered Ventilated Seats, 360 Surround View Camera, Level 2 ADAS, Hill Descent Control, and so much more.
Tata Harrier EV is expected to launch by late 2024 or early 2025.
