With low sales of this car, Maruti Suzuki decided to launch a special edition for its affordable model in the Nexa portfolio, the Ignis hatchback. This special edition is called the Radiance Edition that boasts styling upgrades.
Maruti Suzuki has launched the Ignis Radiance Edition at a starting price of Rs. 5.49 lakh (ex-showroom), making it Rs. 35,000 cheaper than the standard Sigma variant. This new edition boasts several stylish upgrades, such as chrome accents, door visors, and 15-inch steel wheels, valued at Rs. 3,650.

The Maruti Suzuki Ignis, first introduced in January 2017, is sold exclusively through the Nexa premium retail chain. Despite being the entry-level model at Nexa dealerships, it hasn’t seen impressive sales. The Radiance Edition aims to change that by offering a better value-for-money deal.
You can also get the Ignis Radiance Edition in the higher Zeta and Alpha trims. The Zeta variant is priced between Rs. 6.96 lakh and Rs. 7.41 lakh (ex-showroom), which is also Rs. 35,000 cheaper than the standard version. It includes accessories worth Rs. 9,500, such as door visors, door claddings, seat covers, and black cushions.
The Alpha-based Radiance Edition costs between Rs. 7.61 Lakh and Rs. 8.06 Lakh (ex-showroom). Till date, over 2.8 Lakh units of the Ignis have been sold in India. With its enhanced looks and attractive pricing, the Radiance Edition could draw in more buyers.
Mechanically, there’s no change to the Ignis, and continues to come powered by the 1.2 L 4 Cylinder K12 Petrol Engine producing 81.80 BHP and 113 NM Torque mated to an 5 Speed Manual (MT) and Automatic (AT) Transmission. It has a fuel efficiency of 20.89 KMPL.
In terms of features, it sports 2 Airbags, 7-inch Infotainment System, Automatic Climate Control, Day/Night IRVM, Height Adjustable Driver Seat, Voice Commands, Electrically-foldable ORVM, Puddle Lamps, and so much more.
