Behold! Triumph Speed 400, Harley-Davidson X440 has received a new rival from the company, Royal Enfield in the form of the Guerrilla 450 which features the same engine as the Himalayan 450. Here’s what you should know!
The RE Guerrilla 450 chassis is similar to the Himalayan’s, with the engine as a stressed member and a different subframe. The Guerrilla features a gaitered telescopic fork instead of the Himalayan’s USD fork and retains a rear monoshock. It has dual-channel ABS, with a 310mm front disc (10mm smaller than the Himalayan) and a 270mm rear rotor.

The Guerrilla 450 weighs 185 KG , 11 KG lighter than the Himalayan 450, thanks to an 11 Litre Fuel Tank and smaller 17-inch Alloy Wheels with tubeless tyres. It uses CEAT tyres, 120/70-R17 (front) and 160/60-R17 (rear), the fattest on any made-in-India bike. The Royal Enfield Guerrilla 450 uses the same 452cc liquid-cooled ‘Sherpa 450’ engine as the Himalayan, delivering 39.72 BHP at 8,000 RPM and 40 NM at 5,500 RPM with unique tuning and gearing.Available in Analog, Dash, and Flash variants, the Guerrilla offers five color options. The Analog variant has a digi-analogue display with a Tripper navigation pod, while the higher variants feature a TFT dash with connectivity features.The Guerrilla 450 starts from Rs 2.39 Lakh for the Analog trim, Rs 2.49 Lakh for the Dash trim, and Rs 2.54 Lakh for the Flash trim. It competes with the Triumph Speed 400 (Rs 2.34 Lakh), Honda CB300R (Rs 2.40 Lakh), and Husqvarna Svartpilen 401 (Rs 2.92 Lakh), the Guerrilla 450 also comes with a range of accessories.
