TVS has introduced the new Raider iGO variant in India at an ex-showroom price of Rs 98,389 (ex-showroom, Delhi). This variant comes equipped with the innovative iGO assist feature, offering a ‘Boost mode’ for enhanced acceleration, making it ideal for quick overtakes in city traffic. This same feature was recently seen on the TVS Jupiter 110 as well.
The Raider iGO is powered by a 124.8cc, air-and-oil-cooled, single-cylinder engine that generates 11 BHP at 7,500 rpm and 11.75 Nm at 6,000rpm. The iGO variant gains an extra 0.55Nm of torque compared to the standard Raider, accessible only in ‘Boost mode.’ This feature is designed to provide short bursts of acceleration, perfect for urban commutes.
This variant is available exclusively in Nardo Grey and retains the split-seat configuration. It also carries over the LCD instrument cluster from the Raider split-seat variant. TVS claims the iGO variant offers up to 10% better fuel efficiency than other Raider models. For reference, the standard Raider delivers a city-tested mileage of 71.94 kmpl and 65.44 kmpl on highways.
The TVS Raider iGO continues to share its mechanical setup with other Raider variants, including the telescopic front fork and a 5-step preload-adjustable rear monoshock. Braking duties are handled by a 240mm front disc and a 130mm rear drum brake. It rides on 17-inch alloy wheels, fitted with tubeless tyres (80-section front and 100-section rear). With a kerb weight of 123kg and 180mm ground clearance, the Raider iGO remains agile and lightweight.
Positioned just above the Super Squad Edition in the Raider lineup, the iGO offers a competitive price point. Here’s the updated price breakdown for the TVS Raider variants:
The TVS Raider iGO competes with models like the Hero Xtreme 125R, Honda SP 125, Bajaj Pulsar NS125, and the new Bajaj Pulsar N125.
