Ahead of its official launch, we’ve seen many test mules of the Alcazar sporting design elements inspired from Palisade while also looking reminiscent of the Creta. A new test mule of the SUV has been spied revealing a whole new front fascia.
New Alcazar Facelift Spied: Reveals New Details!
The current version of the Alcazar looks very similar to the pre-facelift version of the current Creta. However, a new test mule of the Alcazar reveals that Hyundai is making a whole revision to the design of the SUV to differentiate between the two SUVs. This new test mule can be seen with Santa Fe’s inspired H-shaped LED DRLs, Quad-Beam Headlamps same as the Creta, big front grille with three horizontal slats that could be of chrome, faux skid plates both front and rear.

Side profile can be seen with new alloy wheels with 8-spoke design, functional roof rails on top; and the rear profile features vertically-positioned LED Tail-lamps inspired from Palisade [sold internationally].
Now as for the interiors, it’s should be identical to the Creta like seamless integrated dual 10.25-inch Displays – Infotainment and Digital Cluster, New HVAC Panel for climate control, Panoramic Sunroof on top, and so on.
Features-wise, the Alcazar Facelift will sport Dual-zone climate control, 360 Surround View Camera, Level 2 ADAS, Powered Front Seats, Ventilated and Heated Seats, Powered Tailgate, Rear Sunshade, 2nd row captain seats, Dashcam for all trims, and so much more.
In Engine Options, it’ll retain its existing two options – 1.5 L Turbo Petrol with 157.81 BHP and 253 NM Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual (MT) and 7 Speed DCT Gearbox; and the other is 1.5 L Diesel with 114 BHP and 250 NM Torque mated to 6 Speed Manual (MT) and Automatic (AT) Gearbox.
Upon its launch, it’ll have strong competition from its rivals – Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, MG Hector Plus. The new Alcazar Facelift is expected to launch during the festive season.
