Couple of weeks back, the next-generation Dzire was first spied testing in India but now the sedan has been spotted again undergoing winter testing in Himachal Pradesh. The spy shots reveals the sedan will sport first-in segment feature at launch – a Sunroof.
The interiors of the next-gen Dzire will more or less look the same as the upcoming Swift but while we don’t know if the Swift is getting Sunroof or not; the Dzire getting a sunroof definitely differentiates both the cars apart in the segment. Other than that, notice the front fascia, the grille appears to be hexagonal shape which is half closed and single horizontal slat and vertical block at the center.

The top variant of the Dzire is likely to be fitted with the best features and equipments like the sunroof, 9-inch Infotainment System, Automatic climate control, wireless charging pad, 360 Surround View Camera, and keyless entry and go, among other things. In short, the switchgear, and the buttons will be same as the Baleno, Fronx, Brezza; same case for the Swift as well.
In Engine Options, the Dzire is expected to sport the new 1.2 L 3 Cylinder Z12 Petrol Mild-Hybrid Engine delivering 82 BHP and 107 NM of torque mated to 5 Speed Manual and Automatic (AMT) Gearbox. Expect the fuel efficiency between 23 – 24 KMPL. The CNG Option is likely to launch few months or weeks after the initial petrol version launch.
As for the pricing, the current Dzire is priced at Rs. 6.57 – Rs. 9.39 Lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi); we expect the new Dzire to be price between Rs. 7 – Rs. 10 Lakh bracket. Upon its launch, the new Dzire will continue to compete with the likes of Honda Amaze, Tata Tigor, and the Hyundai Aura.
