Nissan Kicks is scheduled for January 22 launch.Ahead of the launch, Kicks brochure has been leaked which reveals all it’s variants along with specifications, engine options and features of all the models.Nissan Kicks is based on B0 platform and constitutes of graphine body structure.Talking about suspension, it gets Mcpherson strut with coil spring, stabiliser bar and double acting shock absorber and torsion beam with coil spring and double acting shock absorber for better handling.
In terms of specifications, it measures 4,384 mm in length, has a width of 1,813 mm and carries height of 1,651 mm – 1,656 (with roof rails).With class leading ground clearance of 210 mm, it has bootspace and wheelbase of 400 litres and 2,673 mm respectively.Spare tyre size is R16 steel one.
Nissan Kicks will be offered in two engine options.The petrol unit is a 4-cyinder 1498 cc unit with fuel economy of 14.23 kmpl.This 1.5-litre H4K petrol motor makes 106 PS @ 5,000 RPM and 142 NM @ 4,000 RPM.Second one is a 1.5-litre K9K dCi unit with 4 inline cylinders.This 1461 cc engine makes 110 PS @ 3,850 RPM and 240 NM @ 1,750 RPM.Fuel efficiency for diesel of 20.45 kmpl (XL), 19.39 kmpl (XV, XV Pre and XV Pre Option).
Colour options of Kicks includes Pearl White, Blade Silver, Bronze Grey, Amber Orange, Deep Blue Pearl, Night Shade and Fire Red.Along with this dual tone colours are also on offer but are only specific to top-end XV Pre-Option variant.The combinations includes Pearl White + Amber Orange, Pearl White + Onyx Black, Bronze Grey + Amber Orange and Fire Red + Onyx Black.

Kicks XL Interior gets Fabric seats upholstery with black cabin theme.Inside door handles are with mat chrome finish.Even the parking brake and gear shift knob are treated with chrome accents.Other visible interior equipment includes front and rear door pad arm rest and front armrest in fabric finish.

Music system on Kicks XL is a Integrated 2 DIN audio system with Aux and usb, iPod and cd, Bluetooth connectivity along with MP3/am/fm/RDS support.Front and rear speakers are also offered in XL along with Nissan Connect which is also standard in Kicks.
Nissan Kicks XV variant sits on R17 5 spoke machined alloys.Other exterior features includes Satin skid plates, Functional roof rails and Satin chrome body cladding.No other addition are seen in Kicks XV variant from XL model.Like the XL model, XV also gets fabric seat upholstery but with a single stitch.In this variant, addition is seen on the rear seats.For the comfort of the rear passengers, rear armrest is provided with also comes with cup holders.
Infotainment system grows in size when we compare XL vs XV.It gets 8-inch A-IVI floating system with Apple Carplay and android auto, Voice recognition.It also acts to provide view for rear camera.But 360-degree camera is not offered in this model.Eco Mode is offered in XV diesel only.Front seat back magazine and newspaper pockets are provided.It also gets a rear wipers.
Safety features add-on from XL variant includes Rear View camera which is displayed on the 8-inch screen.Dual Horn – trumpet type os provided.Front fog lamps are also an add-on from XL variant.Vehicle Dynamic Control is also provided but limited to XV diesel only.
XV Pre of Nissan Kicks is the third variants of the SUV.Some required upgradations are made in the form of halogen headlamps being replaced by LED projector headlamps.Other than this we see Chrome boot applique.Interior of XV pre receives leather finish on certain elements including steering wheel and gear shift knob which is treated with chrome finish.2 Tweeters are also offered at the rear.
In this variant, outside rear view camera are electrically retractable.Cruise controls comes in XV Pre-Option.Push start stop button along with big size smart card for keyless entry concludes the comfort equipments of XV Pre option.Safety add-ons from the previous variant is very less.From XV model, it only gets Hill Start Assist which comes in XV Pre for both petrol and diesel variants.
XV Pre-Option is the top-end trim of Nissan Kicks.On the exterior, it gets cornering function for fog lamps.Dual tone colours including Pearl White + Amber Orange, Pearl White + Onyx Black, Bronze Grey + Amber Orange and Fire Red + Onyx Black are optional.Variable intermittent wiper comes in top-model.
Leather seat upholstery with double stitch are provided.Kicks top model interior is treated with up market black and brown dual tone upholstery.Sift touch materials are used on the dashboard.Console storage light is offered for convenience.Front armrest, front and rear door pad armrest are in leather finish rather than fabric.
As expected, Kicks top model scores well in terms of comfort and convenience features.It gets automatic headlamps, follow me home lamps and rain sensing wipers.Safety features includes the inclusion of side airbags along with rear fog lamps.
