Nissan India have a couple of time teased its upcoming compact SUV and the Japanese offering has also been spied a couple of times testing on roads. This new video reveals much more details about the look as well as exterior design of the upcoming car.
Whats on the Exterior?
Unlike the Nissan’s V shaped front grille, the compact SUV derives the design from Datsun while the headlamps look really sharper and comes bundled with LED DRLs.The L-Shaped Daytime running lamps which resembles the recently launched facelift Redi-Go facelift.
What also this video reveals, is that there is no shark Finn antenna rather a standard roof antenna is available.Sleek roof rails also enhances the SUV looks of the car.
The carmakers have a couple of months teased the tail lamps of the SUV which contain LED elements and looks pretty elegant.It looks like a mini Nissan Kicks in size.
Multiple colour schemes including dual tone paint options for the exterior will be available in certain trims.
How will be the Cabin of Nissan Magnite look like?
While neither the interior of the compact SUV has been teased or spied, but most probably, the upcoming Nissan Magnite will get dual tone interior with 8 inch infotainment system, analog instrument cluster, automatic ac, charging ports, front and rear armrest among others
There will a total of two petrol engine on offer and it won’t be getting a diesel powertrain.
First one is the 1.0 litre 3 cylinder (which also powers Renault Triber) with output figures of 72 BHP and 96 NM.It will be offered with 5 speed manual & 5 speed automatic and will remain limited to basic trims.
The second one is the turbocharged 3 cylinder unit with 99 BHP and 160 NM of maximum torque.With availability limited to top spec trims, the engine can be had with 5 speed manual and CVT transmission.

Well according to the scheduled August launch of the compact SUV, the debut of Magnite in India is likely to be pushed by around 1 to 2 months.So we can expected the compact SUV to arrive in India in around September 2020.
