While he appreciated the humor about selling the Thar for Rs. 700, Mr. Mahindra hilariously pointed out the financial problems it would face if he ended up making such decision.

However, the final choice may depend on market perceptions, with Mahindra possibly conducting research on the revival of the Armada name for the rugged 5-door Thar. As of now, Mahindra continues its testing with the SUV with a promised 2024 launch date. We expect them to launch the 5 Door Thar in the first half of 2024.
