Renault Triber AMT launched in RXL, RXT, RXZ Variants, 40,000 costlier than manual

Renault Triber is now available with both manual and automatic transmission options.

• It misses out on the base RXE trim
• AMT variants are 40,000 expensive than manual counterparts

Renault India has finally introduced much awaited AMT transmission in the 7 seater MPV.Automatic is available across three models – RXL, RXT and RXZ and misses out on the RXE trim.Official bookings are underway today onwards at Renault showrooms as well as Renault India’s website, on My Renault App.Deliveries are likely to begin in next few weeks.

In terms of pricing, BS 6 automatic variants of Renault Triber are Rs. 40,000 costlier than the manual trims.RXL AMT is priced at Rs. 6.18 Lakhs, while RXT AMT and RXZ AMT gets the price sticker of Rs. 6.68 Lakhs and Rs. 7.22 Lakhs respectively.

Other than the introduction of automatic transmission and price hike in Renault Triber, no interior, exterior changes or features upgrades have been made to the MPV.

Under the hood, Renault Triber gets 1.0 litre naturally aspirated 3 cylinder engine with 71 BHP of power and 96 NM of torque.Now its available with both manual as well as automatic transmission. Triber had certified mileage of 20 kmpl in its BS 4 variants which is likely to go down a bit as well.
