River, an Bengaluru-based EV start-up launched its first electric scooter, River Indie and priced it at Rs. 1.20 lakhs (ex-showoom), also known as the SUV of scooters.

However, in offering maximum range for the electric scooter to travel, River Indie definitely fells short to Ola S1 Pro, Hero Vida V1 Pro, and Ather 450X with them having range of 181 km, 146km / 105 km, and 165 km while River Indie has 120 km with a top speed of 90 kmph.
When it comes to charging, River Indie has no fast charging and is only being offered by S1 Pro, V1 Pro, and 450X. But it can from 0 – 80% in 5 hours which is good. However, it’s worth complementing the fact that it has the largest boot space of 55L in this segment.
