April sales figures of Royal Enfield have been released

The sales figure of Royal Enfiled has been released and the company has grown by 18%

Royal Enfield offers 3 segments of bikes, one is the Cruiser, second is Adventure Tourer, and now the Scrambler. Royal Enfield Motorcycles are famous for their riding stance, road presence, and their engine. And because of this, the Royal Enfield never failed in the Indian Market. The sales figures of Royal Enfield have been revealed, these are from April 2023. Let us have a detailed look at it.

A detailed explanation of the April Sales of Royal Enfield

Starting will the overall growth, Royal Enfiled has grown by 18% overall. But in some categories, the company has faced some sort of decline in sales. The exports of the company have almost declined by 50% in figures, last year in April Royal Enfield exported 8,303 units whereas this year in April Royal enfiled exported just 4,255 units which are less by 4,048 units leading to a decline of 48.75% from last year’s April export. If this is compared with the previous month’s export which is 12,351 units with the April exports that is only 4,255 units, the company has a decline rate of 65.55%. Something similar has happened with the bikes having a bigger engine than 350cc. Last year in April the company sold over 10,591 units of motorcycles with bigger engines than 350cc, but this year in April Royal Enfield has sold 8,408 units bearing a decline of 20.61%. But this turns totally opposite because Royal Enfield sold over 64,728 units this year in April whereas last year, Royal Enfield had sold over 51,564 units which leads to a growth of 25.53% this year.

Upcoming Motorcycles by Royal Enfield 

There are a couple of upcoming bikes by Royal Enfield which mainly included Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 and Royal Enfield Scram 450. These bikes follow a similar design to their prior models, the Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 and Scram 411. 

Upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450

The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will be based on the outgoing Himalayan. It will be powered by a 450cc single-cylinder engine that will produce 40bhp of maximum power and 40nm of maximum torque. The Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 will compete with the KTM Adventure 390, and Yezdi Adventure. The Current Royal Enfield Himalayan 411 is powered by a 411cc single-cylinder engine which produces 24bhp and 32nm of maximum torque. It gets certain features like turn-by-turn navigation, a semi-digital instrument cluster, USB charging socket, and for safety it gets a switchable dual-channel ABS. 

Upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 450 

Just like the upcoming Himalayan 450 the Royal Enfield Scrambler 450 will follow its outgoing model the Royal Enfield Scram 411. It will be powered by a 450cc single-cylinder engine that will produce 40bhp of maximum power and 40nm of maximum torque. The current Royal Enfield Scram 411 is powered by a 411cc single-cylinder engine which produces 24bhp and 32nm of maximum torque. And it gets some useable features like the semi-digital instrument cluster that has an integrated trip meter, and tachometer, and as an option, you get a Navigation pod that is the turn-by-turn navigation system that is supported by google maps.
