Royal Enfield has finally launched the new Bullet 350, which is built on their J-Platform, marking the end of UCE Platform bikes. The Hunter 350 is also on the same platform, and so, we thought of comparing the two Royal Enfield bikes to find out how similar they really are!

At the front as you can see, the new Bullet 350 comes with round Halogen headlamps with round bulb indicators at the sides and exposed handlebar above the headlamps. It rides on telescopic fork suspension at front with 19-inch spoke-wire wheels equipped with disc brakes, and at the rear it rides on twin shock absorbers with 5-step adjustable preload with 19-inch spoke wire wheels equipped with disc brakes. Moving to the side, it has round analog instrument cluster and oval-shaped fuel tank, and one single piece seat with the pillion seat raised a bit. At the rear, it has round halogen taillights, and single exhaust below.

The RE Hunter 350 at the front has a round halogen headlamp with round bulb indicators at the side of the headlamps. It rides on 41mm telescopic fork suspension at front with 17-inch spoke/alloy wheels equipped with twin piston floating calliper fixed disc brake, and at the rear it rides 6-step adjustable pre-load suspension with 17-inch spoke/alloy wheels equipped with single piston floating calliper disc brake. Moving to the side, it has oval-shaped fuel tank and behind it is one single-piece seat with pillion seat raised a bit. It has two round LCD display for instrument cluster and analog dial for speedometer. At the rear, it has round LED taillights and round bulb indicators at the sides.

When it comes to Dimensions, the Bullet 350 measures 2110 MM in length, 785 MM in width, and 1125 MM in height while the Hunter 350 measures 2055 MM in length which is 55 MM shorter, width of 800 MM that is 15 MM wider, and height of 1055 MM that is shorter by 70 MM. The Bullet 350 has a saddle height of 805 MM, and wheelbase of 1390 MM where as the Hunter 350 features 790 MM saddle height which is 15 MM lower, and wheelbase of 1370 MM which is 20 MM shorter. The Ground Clearance on the Bullet 350 is 170 MM, and Kerb Weight is 195 KG while the Hunter 350 has a 20 MM lower ground clearance, and its kerb weight is 181 KG making it lightier by 14 KG. Both the bikes features same fuel tank of 13 litres.

In the end, the decision to buy which Royal Enfield bike depends totally on you, however, if you ask us, we recommend you to buy the Hunter 350 given the engine is the same so the performance will be almost similar, the features are slightly better than the Bullet 350, and it’s affordable. However, the Bullet 350 has been around for many years, and given the performance it holds many will be willing to buy this bike over the Hunter 350. So, it’s up to you to decide which bike you want. Both of them are good in performance, space and comfort.
