RE Classic 650 – What you need to know!

The Royal Enfield Classic 650 was spotted with similar design as it’s sibling, Classic 350. There is a possibility that the Classic 650 will be offered with wire-spoke wheels and alloy wheels variants. The Classic 650 test mule was spied with wire-spoke wheels while earlier test mule was spied with dual-tone alloy wheels. At the front, it has round LED headlights, bulb indicators, and use of chrome on the headlamp, exhaust pipes, and engine casing.

The separate rider and pillion’s seat contributes towards the retro-look of the bike. The Classic 650 will be powered by the 648cc parallel-twin engine that also powers the Super Meteor 650 as it produces 46.36 bhp and 52.3 Nm of torque mated to 6-speed constant mesh gearbox. The Classic 650 is based on the same J-Platform as the Super Meteor 650, and it’ll come with conventional telescopic fork suspension at front, and dual rear shocks at the rear with disc brakes on both wheels.

The Classic 650 could launch later this year as it appears to be production-ready, and it’s possible that Royal Enfield could unveil the bikes at EICMA in November 2023, and could be priced between Rs. 3 lakh and Rs. 3.20 lakh.
