The Upcoming Royal Enfield Himalayan 450 was spotted again, but this time, it was spotted testing overseas without any camouflage indicating that the bike is production-ready. Here is everything that you should know about the RE Himalayan 450.
Well, say thanks to the spy shots, we have a clear look at the RE Himalayan 450 testing without camouflage giving us our first look at the bike that seems to be production-ready. The RE Himalayan 450 has a round LED headlamp with a decent-size visor, and at the front it has 21-inch wheels and 17-inch wheels at the rear. Moving to the side, it has a big rounded fuel tank, single-pod digital instrument cluster, and a split seat with grab handle for the passenger seating behind the rider. Moreover, the front and rear wheels are equipped with disc brakes with ABS.
The new RE Himalayan 450 is an adventure bike rides on USD forks suspension at the front, and monoshock adjustable suspension at the rear. It will be powered by the 450cc single-cylinder liquid-cooled engine producing 40 bhp and 45 Nm of torque paired to a six-speed gearbox. The Digital instrument cluster is expected to get bluetooth connectivity, and display various information like fuel gauge, temperature gauge, tachometer, speedometer, gear position indicator, trip meter, and more.
The current Himalayan is priced between Rs. 2.16 lakh and Rs. 2.23 lakh and with the new Himalayan 450, the price will obviously go up. With the announcement for the new bike expected soon, we expect the bike to be priced Rs. 2.70 lakh (ex-showroom). On it’s launch, we expect the RE Himalayan 450 to battle, KTM 390 Adventure, BMW G 310 GS, and Yezdi Adventure.
