See whose back at 1st Position in Top 10 Best-Selling SUVs!

The month of September 2023 was another good month for the SUV sales with many carmakers reporting positive numbers for the SUVs over the last year. But out of the top 10 SUVs in August 2023, Tata Nexon has regained its 1st position in sales as best-selling beating Maruti Brezza (at 2nd position) by just 324 units.

Top 10 Best-Selling SUVs of September 2023

At No.1 Position is the return of the SUV from Tata Motors, the Nexon with 15,325 unit sales over the 8,049 units in August with growth by 90.39%, and volume growth by 7,276 units. Tata Motors in September unveiled the facelift update for the Nexon, and Nexon.ev, and it’s safe to say the amount of features, it’s has gotten is just insane, it’ll take a long time for anyone to match the features Tata Nexon has on offer. At 2nd position is the pole holder in August, Maruti Brezza with growth in sales by 2.94% to 15,001 units compared to 14,572 units in August.

Moving on, the 3rd position is Tata Punch with 13,606 units compared to 14,523 units reporting dip in sales by 6.31%. Tata was recently spotted many times testing the Punch EV, and it revealed many key things such as it’ll sport 10.25-inch infotainment system, two-spoke Nexon-like steering wheel with illuminating logo, electric parking brake with auto hold function, disc brakes for rear wheels, and possibly could get digital instrument cluster.

At 4th position is the Hyundai Creta with sales unfortunately are down to 12,717 units from the 13,832 units with 8.06% de-growth. Just recently, a youtuber made a walkaround video of the Exterior, and Interior, and through this video, it confirmed many things like it’ll sport Camera, and Radar-based Level 2 ADAS, dual 10.25-inch display, 360 Surround View Camera with front and rear parking sensors, connected LED tail lamps with H-shaped LED DRLs, and so much more. It’s due for launch sometime in early 2024.

Hyundai Venue is at 5th position with sales improved by 11.47% to 12,204 units compared to 10,948. Hyundai recently updated the Venue with ADAS to enhance the safety of its customers. Mahindra Scorpio sales are combined numbers of Scorpio-N and Scorpio Classic. Its 11,846 units over the 9,898 units with 19.68% growth. The Grand Vitara and the Fronx sits at 7th and 8th position with sales down to 11,736 unit and 11,455 unit from the 11,818 and 12,164 units in August 2023.

Kia Seltos is at the bottom at 9th position with 10,558 unit sales compared to 10,698 unit sales it did in August. Lastly, the newly launched Hyundai Exter is at the 10th position with 8,647 unit sales which is an improvement by 16.37% from the 7,430 unit sales in August.

In the coming months, there are many exciting launches coming like the Tata Harrier and Safari Facelifts, Punch EV, Hyundai Creta Facelift, Kia Sonet Facelift, Mahindra XUV300 Facelift, and so much more.
