Simple Energy has plans to launch two new e-scooters that will be affordable for the Indian Market in the coming months and will be positioned below the newly launched Simple One.
The company has restated that the two new e-scooters it’ll launch will be priced aggressively or attractively for it’s customers, and it’ll sit below the Simple One which has the segment best range of 212 km (claimed). The developments are in full effect to ready the production variants of the e-scooters “faster than before.” These new affordable e-scooters will help them expand and reach out to people that are tighter on budget.
The Simple One is currently priced at Rs. 1.45 lakh (ex-showroom) and at the moment has 1+ lakh bookings already. It had made it’s debut two years ago but took all the time they needed to make sure the e-scooter they launch fulfil the required safety norms. It is the fastest e-scooter in the segment that can go from 0 – 40 kmph in 2.77 seconds. The Simple One is the first electric scooter to have a thermal management system that has been developed in association with IIT-Indore to reduce the thermal runaways.
Simple Energy has plans to expand it’s reach across India with presence in 40 – 50 cities through 160 – 180 outlets.
