Simple Energy has begin delivering the Simple One electric scooter to it’s customer; and currently has 1 lakh bookings!
The Bengaluru-based start-up Simple Energy has started the deliveries of the Simple One e-scooter with 15 units handed to the customers at the inaugural event.

Simple Energy claims that it currently has 1 lakh bookings of the Simple One e-scooter that are yet to be delivered. Few weeks ago, it had launched the e-scooter and it looks different than what it had provided media representatives for testing and other stuff. Simple Energy is looking to expand it’s reach throughout the country by ’40-50 cities via 160-180 retail stores.’
The Founder and CEO of Simple Energy, Mr. Suhas Rajkumar, said, “We’re elated to commence the deliveries of the Simple One, starting with customers in Bengaluru.” He further added, “We’re confident that we’ll be successful in creating a delightful ownership experience and believe that Simple One revolutionize the segment by creating a greener future.” The Simple One is currently the only e-scooter with highest claimed range of 212 km on a single charge, and is heavier than most of it’s rivals.
Simple One – Design & Battery Pack Specifications
The Simple One has a triangular LED headlamps with LED DRLs above. The Simple One is a striking electric scooter with cuts and creased all over the body giving it a sharp and carved look. Moving behind, it has a large 7-inch color TFT instrument cluster which is touch based, and on it you can change the display theme, access maps for navigation, pair your mobile device to either accept or reject the call when riding, and can play, pause, and skip music across the music apps. The Simple One has a large seat on which two people can easily seat comfortably and has a V-shape LED taillamps, and rides on 12-inch alloy wheels.

The Simple One Electric Scooter has a 5 kWh battery pack that puts out 6.03 bhp and 72 Nm of torque providing us a range of 212 km. It can charge from 0 – 80% in 5 hours 54 minutes. It can go do 0 – 40 kmph in just 2.77 seconds at a top speed of 105 kmph.

The Simple One has features such as LED Projector headlamps, 12-inch alloy wheels, 7-inch digital instrument cluster with Wireless Apple Carplay/Android Auto, Wi-Fi Connectivity, Bluetooth Connectivity, Keyless Ignition, Cruise Control, Music Control, and Front Disc Brakes.
As for the pricing, Simple Energy has priced the Simple One at Rs. 1.45 lakh for the Single-Tone Color and Rs. 1.50 lakh for the Dual-Tone Color, and it has a warranty period of 3 years/30,000 km.
