With a generational upgrade, Skoda is testing a new product and will launch the New Kodiaq later this year.
This will be the sportiest-looking SUV ever, owing to significant design and technological advancements.
The automaker’s leaked spy shots lead us to believe that the newly styled front fascia will have a split LED system, the iconic Skoda grille, and air curtains.
Most likely, we’ll get a redesigned rear fascia with a new set of LED taillamps and a sleek and sharp side profile with new alloy wheels.
Expect to see a redesigned centre console with fewer physical buttons and a reworked dashboard.
I’m probably going to have a gear shifter located on the steering column this time.
Under the hood, there will probably be a 2.0-liter petrol engine providing 201.2 bhp and a 1.5-liter TSI petrol unit with mild hybrid technology producing 147.9 bhp.
A 2.0-liter diesel engine with 148–190 Bhp of power is also anticipated. A PHEV version of the upcoming German SUV is also predicted.
