This year, Skoda will introduce its first flagship electric crossover to the market, raising the bar for prospective competitors in its class by providing a premium, luxurious, and performance-driven experience.

New Skoda Enyaq: What to Expect?

Exterior Design:

Skoda New Electric SUV Debuts in India

After recently making an appearance at the Bharat Mobility Expo, the automaker’s first electric vehicle for the Indian market, the New Skoda Enyaq, will be unveiled this year. Overall, this gives a very angular and sleek crossover style with a striking road presence. This crossover has a newly styled horizontally positioned projector arrangement with the Skoda Signature grille, but it also has an illuminated LED grille that adds a premium sense. Larger, more elegantly styled alloy wheels with dynamic ORVMs installed on the door panels are visible from the side. It has a clean and elegant image from the back, with new LED taillights and gloss black bumpers that give it a powerful posture.

Interior Styling:

We may observe a more upscale cabin with opulent leatherette upholstery and a virtual cockpit inside. It will have a larger touchscreen entertainment system in the middle, a digital instrument cluster, and two-spoke Skoda steering with mounted controls. Along with a slew of new connected car technologies and Level 2 ADAS providing even more safety assistance, it will also have a panoramic sunroof. Based on their MEB (born electric) platform, the new Skoda Enyaq has a length of 4.3 meters and will only be available with a two-row seating configuration.

Powertrain:

The Skoda Enyaq, which comes in many configurations for international markets, will most likely be offered in India as the Enyaq iv80x, which will come with a potent AWD option in addition to medium and long-range variants.  You will probably receive two sets of 150 kW and 195 kW battery packs, each with a max power output of 150 to 195 PS and peak torque that can range from 310 to 425 Nm, depending on the model, and 520 to 545 Km (WLTP) of range on a single charge.

With 0 to 100 kilometers per hour in under 6 seconds for the AWD version and 8.2 seconds for the RWD option, the new Enyaq is probably going to reach a top speed of 160 to 180 km/h. Because of its 135 kW DC fast charging technology, the battery can be charged from 0% to 80% in less than half an hour. In the near future, Skoda may possibly release a performance-oriented RS version of the Enyaq, similar to what it offers globally.
