There are updates to the inside as well such as the new floating 10.25-inch Infotainment System similar to the one’s saw on recent new Tata SUVs – Nexon, Punch EV, etc; new 7-inch Digital Instrument Cluster with smooth operating system, segment-first front ventilated seats, orange highlights around the AC vents, gearbox; orange stitching on the armrest, seats, and steering wheel, orange ambient light at the footwell, wireless charging pad, and on Dashboard; voice-assisted sunroof on top, Racer printing on the front seats headrests along with new leatherette upholstery with contrast stitching.
Under the hood, it uses the 1.2 L 3-Cylinder Turbo Petrol Engine which was available with the standard Altroz as i-Turbo, but since it’s discontinued over there, the Racer gets the Nexon like Turbo Petrol Engine delivering 118.35 BHP and 170 NM Torque which is more by 9.86 BHP and 30 NM Torque over the standard Altroz. The Racer gets only a 6 Speed Manual Gearbox with no Automatic Option, but it gets a sportier sounding exhaust system.
On the standard version, you used to get the 5 Speed Manual with the i-Turbo. Notably, the Racer doesn’t feature any steering or suspension update unlike its rival, i20 N-Line, which does feature tuned steering or suspension updates.
The Altroz Racer is sold in 3 Variants – R1, R2, and R3. The Racer gets features like 360 Surround View Camera, Front Ventilated Seats, 10.25-inch Infotainment with Wireless Apple Carplay / Android Auto, Sunroof, Air Purifier, Blind View Monitor, Automatic Climate Control, Xpress Cool, 6 Airbags as standard, and so on.
