With the Tata Curvv launch just two days away, the EV has started arriving at dealerships. The first walkaround video now offers a preview of both the exterior and interior of the vehicle.

In the video, we can see the Tata Curvv EV stands out with its sleek coupe roofline, flush door handles, and stylish 18-inch alloy wheels featuring aero inserts for improved aerodynamic efficiency and extended range. Both the EV and ICE versions come with a voice-assisted panoramic sunroof with mood lighting and ample storage options, including a 422-liter rear boot and an anticipated 80-liter front frunk, ideal for groceries and charging cables.
Inside, the Curvv offers a luxurious experience with a 12.3-inch infotainment system, enhanced in the EV version with the Arcade.ev App Suite, which includes OTT and YouTube apps for entertainment. The vehicle also features a power tailgate with gesture activation, power-adjustable front seats (6-way adjustable), ventilated seats, a 2-step rear seat recline, panoramic sunroof on top, and a spacious center console.
The Tata Curvv EV will be offered in standard and long-range variants. The standard model is expected to feature a 40.5 kWh battery pack, taken from Nexon EV, providing a range of up to 465 KM, while higher variants could come with a 55 kWh battery pack, delivering approximately 550 KM Built on the acti.ev platform, the Curvv EV promises a range of over 500 km, ensuring top-tier performance. All variants will be equipped with a front-axle mounted electric motor, delivering a powerful and smooth driving experience.
The Curvv EV boasts an array of impressive features, including a 9-speaker JBL sound system, a 10.25-inch digital cockpit cluster, sequential LED indicators, ambient lighting, an air purifier, and a cooled glovebox. It also offers paddle shifters with regenerative braking and multiple drive modes. Additionally, the welcome and goodbye function for the connected headlamps and tail-lamps adds a sophisticated touch.
In terms of safety, the Curvv is well-equipped with a 360-degree surround-view camera featuring a blind spot view monitor, Level 2 ADAS, and 6 standard airbags. It also includes an electric parking brake with auto hold, driver drowsiness alert, ESP, hill start assist, front and rear parking sensors, TPMS, and more.

Tata will be launching both the ICE and EV version of the Curvv SUV on August 7th to assert dominance in both the SUV Segments. Upon its launch, the ICE version will compete with the likes of Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Hyryder, MG Astor, Honda Elevate, VW Taigun, Skoda Kushaq, Citroen C3 Aircross, and upcoming Citroen Basalt.
The EV version will for now compete with the MG ZS EV, but later joining the list will be the Hyundai’s Creta EV coming in Jan 2025, and the Maruti Suzuki eVX, coming in 2025.
