Recently Tata had launched the Curvv SUV in both ICE and EV Powertrain with range of features that no one may have seen it coming. Tata Motors showcased the production-ready Harrier.ev at the Bharat Mobility Expo 2024 held in February, with its launch confirmed for March 2025. Built on the Acti.ev platform, shared with the Punch.ev and Curvv.ev, the Harrier.ev closely resembles its ICE counterpart but incorporates EV-specific design elements. These include a closed front fascia with horizontal slats, EV badging above the door cladding, and redesigned alloy wheels. The Tata Safari.ev was recently spotted testing in India, fueling speculation that it might launch alongside the Harrier.ev by March 2025. The Safari.ev shares a similar design approach with its EV sibling, featuring updates like a closed front fascia with horizontal slats and EV badging above the door cladding. Expected Launch: Q4 2025
Tata Motors has confirmed plans to launch the Sierra.ev in FY 2025-26 (April 2025 to March 2026), with an expected debut in the last quarter of 2025, likely between October and December. The Sierra.ev concept was first showcased at the Auto Expo 2020, with its pre-production version unveiled at the Auto Expo 2023.
Built on Tata’s Gen2 EV Platform, the Sierra.ev draws inspiration from the iconic Sierra SUV of the 1990s, incorporating design elements like square-shaped wheel arches, a tall body stance, and curved rear windows. The EV is expected to offer 55 kWh and 60 kWh battery options, providing a range of over 500 km.
The features list is likely to match the Safari.ev, with additional enhancements aimed at rear-seat comfort and luxury. The rear seats are expected to offer significantly more legroom and premium comfort, catering to a luxurious experience for passengers.
