Tata Harrier was showcased back at Auto Expo 2018 and stole the limelight. There was much hype about the SUV and it was introduced in India in January 2019.Harrier entered in a segment which was very popular as well as competitive.

It received a great initial response in the market due to its premium looks and top notch features on offer. For the first few months, it managed to grab even sales of over 2000 units. But with the launch of MG Hector, the sales figures have been slightly impacted.

Tata has also recently increased the prices of Harrier with the base diesel variant costing Rs. 13 Lakhs (Ex Showroom).Along with this, Tata Motors India have brought up dual tone exterior colour variant of Harrier post the launch of Morris Garrages’s Hector. One of the major missing in Harrier was a sunroof for which Tata launched electric sunroof for Tata Harrier as an additional accessory.

Now after 8 months of the launch of Harrier, Tata is also bringing an all black variant of Harrier. Now what the Harrier all black variant is all about.First of all, it is a new black colour theme.Since black and white are among the most sorted out colours for cars and Hector also have it, that’s why Tata is also bringing it for Harrier and no doubt Harrier looks beast in this super stunning black colour.

Along with this, the 17 inch alloy in silver colour will also be of black colour as well. Now the front skid plates as well as the matte silver element on the rear bumper will also be now blacked out. Each and every element in black treatment adds to the sportiness and boldness of the SUV.

In this black variant, apart from the exterior black paint, there won’t be any changes to the outside of the car.It is the interior of the SUV which will be modified.Instead of the standard premium brown seat upholstery, Harrier black edition will be getting all black interior theme.Along with this, the faux wooden inserts on the dashboard would now be replaced by a textured matte grey panel.

Tata Harrier is currently offered in a total fo 5 colour options which includes Thermisto Gold, Ariel Silver, Calisto Copper, Telesto Grey and Orcus White. This new black edition will be addition to all these colours along with the recently introduced dual tone colour options on the top end fully loaded XZ variant.

This black edition Tata Harrier will be priced premium over the standard variants, well its not sure yet but surely it would be interesting to see whether Tata keeps the black edition trims at a slightly high price.
