Tata is set to expand their portfolio with numerous cars launches that are lined-up for this year. However, in this article, we’re listing down the 4 electric cars from Tata that are definitely launching very soon for the Indian Market.
Tata Curvv EV (Expected: H1 2024)
Tata Curvv EV looks similar as the concept like vertically split headlamps, sloping coupe-like roofline that integrates into the connected taillamps. Moreover, it gets new aero-efficient 18-inch alloy wheels and skid plates for the bumpers. From the inside, the Curvv gets a three-layer dashboard with a 12.3-inch infotainment system, 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Cluster, 2-spoke steering wheel with Tata logo illumination, touch-sensitive controls for the HVAC, and new leather seat upholstery.
Moreover, the Curvv EV is likely built on Tata’s new Acti.ev platform, which means it may have 45 – 50 kWh battery pack with single and dual motor setup to provide 500+ KMs on a single charge. In Features, it’ll have ventilated seats, 360 Surround View camera, Electric Parking Brake with auto hold, Electrically adjustable front seats, ambient lighting, wireless charging, air purifier, Heads-up Display, flush door handles, and so much more. Tata is expected to launch the EV in the first half of 2024.

Tata Harrier.ev and Safari.ev (Expected: Late 2024)
Tata Harrier EV and Safari EV design from the outside looks the same to the ICE version. Tata had unveiled the Harrier EV at the Auto Expo 2023 with closed front grille with 3 horizontal slats which can be same for the Safari EV. Notably, Tata was endorsing the Harrier.ev with 4×4 capability while the ICE Harrier wasn’t.
Both the EVs design are similar to the ICE version like the Harrier EV has S-style LED taillamps, while the Safari EV has wrap-around connected Taillamps. Moreover, both the SUVs gets different alloy wheel design for the 19-inch alloy wheels to improve aerodynamic efficiency, and also help with range. The cabin will be the same as the ICE version such as the 12.3-inch infotainment, 10.25-inch digital cluster, 4-spoke steering wheel with Tata logo illumination, touch-sensitive controls for climate control, panoramic sunroof, and more.
Both the SUVs is also expected to be built on the new Acti.ev platform which is capable of giving as much as 600 KMs. So, it is likely both the SUVs are equipped with a battery pack between 50 – 60 kWh to offer this much, and at the same time it may be sold with dual-motor setup only since it’ll also be doing off-roading. In features, it’ll get new rotary dial for 4×4 drive select, and traction control modes. Other than it won’t get any new features.
Tata Altroz EV (Expected: H1 2025)
Tata is set to launch the electric version of the Altroz which will have little design changes over the ICE version like new alloy wheel design to cope with range, EV badging on the fender, and minor other changes. Moreover, the interior layout will remain the same except it’ll get new 10.25-inch free-standing infotainment system, new 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Instrument Cluster behind the 4-spoke steering wheel.
Moreover, it’ll get new features like ventilated seats, electric parking brake with auto hold, LED Headlamps, Arcade.ev app, wireless charging app, 6 Airbags, and it’s possible the top trim will get the 360 Surround View Camera. As for the battery specs, the Altroz EV is built on the new Acti.ev platform and it’s likely equipped with a 30 – 35 kWh battery pack with range between 300 – 400 KMs.
