Tata Motors’ Punch SUV has surpassed four lakh sales in just 34 months since its launch in October 2021. This milestone highlights the Punch’s success in the micro SUV segment with its robust design, tall stance, and high ground clearance. It has become one of the top-selling vehicles for Tata Motors and in India.
The Punch quickly gained popularity, reaching one lakh sales in August 2022, two lakh in May 2023, three lakh in December 2023, and four lakh in July 2024, averaging 11,764 units sold per month. The petrol variant accounts for 53% of sales, followed by CNG at 33%, and EV at 14%. The Punch saw a 75% year-on-year sales growth in FY2024, capturing a 68% market share in its segment.
