Tata Motors started this year with the Punch EV launch, and since then, the Punch EV has been outperforming all the SUVs by quite a margin. Punch sold 17,547 units in March which is less compared to 18,438 units it sold in Feb 2024 with 4.83 % decline. Moving on, Nexon has been struggling to keep up with the Punch as it sold 14,058 units finishing behind the Maruti Brezza in sales. Nexon CNG is expected to launch in the coming weeks and may help Nexon finish closer to the Punch.
The Tiago EV recently was updated with 45W Fast-Charging USB Type-C and Auto-Dimming IRVM, and looks like it didn’t properly paid off, as 6,381 units were sold which is down from 6,947 units in Feb 2024 resulting in 8.15% drop. Up next is the Altroz at 4th position with 5,985 unit sales which is a positive growth for Tata with 31.02% growth in sales over Feb 2024. Tata in the coming weeks is expected to launch the Racer version of Altroz which will compete directly with Hyundai i20 N-Line.
Next is the three-row Beast SUV, Safari, finishing ahead of Harrier yet again with 2,063 units which is down by 22.09% compared to Feb 2024. Same is the case for the Harrier reporting drop in sales by 19.83% with 2,054 units sold.
