Tata Motors took to Twitter to announce that the Nexon has achieved a big production milestone ever since it had launched.
Tata Motors had unveiled the Nexon at the Auto Expo in 2014 and it finally launched in 2017 and today it competes with the Maruti’s Brezza, Hyundai Venue, Kia Sonet, and Nissan Magnite. This was the first sub 4 meter car by Tata Motors. Today, Tata Motors on Twitter announced a big production milestone. Ever since the Nexon was launched, it has produced 500,000 units of the SUV. This is a big achievement for the Tata Motors as this shows how much the people are loving and why it earned No.1 position in sales over the course of years.

Tata Nexon has one petrol and one diesel engine on offer. The 1.5-litre turbo diesel produces 113.42 bhp and 260 Nm of torque paired to a 6-speed Manual Transmission and 6-speed Automatic Transmission with a fuel efficiency of 24.05 km/l and a top speed of 128 kmph. The other is the 1.2-litre turbo petrol engine that puts out 118.35 bhp and 170 Nm of torque mated to the same 6-speed Manual and 6-speed Automatic Transmission with fuel efficiency of 17.05 km/l.
Tata Nexon has features such as height adjustable driver seat, rear AC vents, 7-inch infotainment system with Android Auto, and Apple CarPlay, voice controls, glove box cooling, leather seat upholstery, ventilated seats, 16-inch alloy wheels, wireless charging, and 8-speaker Harman sound system. In Safety, it has two airbags, traction control, automatic headlamps, cruise control, reverse parking camera, TPMS, ABD with EBS, and ESC.
Tata Nexon has literally 65 variants on offer. The base XM diesel variant starts at Rs. 11.35 lakh and goes up to Rs. 17.01 lakh for the top-end XZA Plus LUXS Red Dark AMT Edition. The petrol base variant starts at Rs. 8.75 lakh and goes up to Rs. 15.04 lakh for the XZA Plus LUXS Red Dark AMT Edition.
