Tata Nexon, Tiago and Tigor Facelift 2020 Revealed, Launch in Late January

The facelifted variants of Nexon, Tiago and Tigor has been revealed.Pre bookings for all these cars are now open at a token amount of Rs. 11,000.The official launch of these new models will take place in the later half of this month after launch of Altroz on January 22.

Tata Nexon Facelift

Nexon Facelift received number of design upgrades and more features to keep it up to date.It also got variant re jig as well.In terms of overall looks and stylish, the compact SUV looks quite similar to the electric counterpart.

With the facelift, Tata Nexon will now be offered with BS-VI compliant 1.2 L Revotron petrol and 1.5 L Revotorq Diesel engine both paired to manual as well as automated manual transmission option.While the manual transmission will come in all variants, the AMT options remains only to XM and XZ+ while dual tone also comes in XZ+.The variants are XE, XM, XMA, XZ, XZ+, XZA+, XZ+(O) and XZA+(O).XT Plus will be removed from Nexon in 2020 facelift.

Nexon facelift variants

There will be a total of 6 exterior colour options – Foliage, Tectonic Blue, Flame Red, Pure Silver, Daytona Grey and Calgary White.All of them can be had with an option of white contrasting roof in dual tone XZ+ variant.The dimensions remains unchanged with ground clearance and boot space at 209 mm and 350 L respectively.

Coming to the price, BS6 Tata Nexon petrol costs Rs. 90,000 more than BS4 variants while the BS6 Nexon Facelift diesel is expensive by Rs. 1.4 Lakhs.Presently, Nexon petrol price ranges between Rs. 6.73 Lakhs and Rs. 10.14 Lakhs while diesel variants of pre facelift Nexon ranges between Rs. 7.89 Lakhs and Rs. 11.40 lakhs (Prices, Ex Showroom).

Tata Nexon Facelift 2020 will compete vs Hyundai Venue, Maruti Vitara Brezza Facelift, Mahindra XUV300, Ford Ecosport and Honda WR-V.

Tata Tiago and Tigor Facelift

Tata Tiago looks much more stylish and bold in its facelifted version.The stylish seems to be inspired from soon to be launched Tata Altroz.It gets aggressive front grille with chrome lining under it, bigger air dams and new front fog lamps.These similar changes are clearly visible in Tigor Facelift 2020 as well.The side section largely remains unchanged while the rear has got a new bumper.

Six colours will be on offer for Tata Tiago Facelift which includes Flame Red, Pearlescent White, Victor Yellow, Pure Silver, Tectonic Blue and Daytona Grey while Tigor 2020 has got 5 paint schemes – Pure Silver, Deep Red, Pearlescent White, Arizona Blue and Daytona Grey.

Both of them will do away with 1.05 litre Diesel engine which produced 69 BHP @ 4000 RPM and 140 NM @ 1800 RPM of torque.The 3 cylinder Diesel engine with a capacity of 1047 cc will not be upgraded to Bharat Stage 6 and now both these cars unlike Nexon Facelift, will now be petrol only offering.

In the facelift, these both cars will get only 1.2 L Revotron engine under the hood which will be BS-VI compliant.It will continue to be offered with 5 speed manual and 5 speed automatic transmission option.Power and torque figures are 84 BHP @ 6000 RPM and 113 NM @ 3500 RPM.

Tata Tiago facelift will be around Rs. 45,000 expensive than the current spec Tiago while the Tigor compact sedan will slightly more expensive with a hike of Rs. 50,000.
