Here Are the Top 10 New Features Tata Safari Facelift Will Be Getting!

Tata Motors is currently busy testing the Safari facelift that is due for launch in October 2023 along with the Harrier Facelift. The Major update in the facelift Safari is going to get will be exterior and interior changes, and addition of new features. Tata Safari has rivals like MG Hector, Mahindra XUV700, and Hyundai Alcazar. Tata wants to make sure that it stays way ahead in competition and offer big features that will take time for it’s rivals to catch-up. So, here are the top 10 new features that Tata Safari Facelift will be getting –

  1. Multi-Color Ambient Lights
  2. Paddle Shifters (for Automatic variants)
  3. Adaptive Cruise Control (new feature for ADAS) (Expected)
  4. New Petrol Engine
  5. Display on Steering Wheel
  6. New Screen for Climate Control on Center Console
  7. Sharper 10.25-inch infotainment system
  8. Front Parking Sensors
  9. 2-zone Climate Control
  10. Park Assist

The Current Safari has limited ambient lighting for the cabin, and with the facelift update, Tata will add more color options for the ambient lighting so you can set the color according to your liking. Then the next new feature Safari facelift will be getting is the paddle shifters for automatic variants. The current Safari doesn’t have paddle shifters and if you want to change gears manually, you can only do it through the gear lever. Well, it seems like Tata has listened to customers and it’ll be adding paddle shifters in the Safari facelift.

Tata will also bring new feature for the ADAS which is the Adaptive Cruise Control so you can drive for longer distance and let the Adaptive Cruise Control manage driving for you by watching the roads ahead, maintaining speed, braking, and keep you in lane, although you’ll still need to steer the car otherwise it’ll slow down and pull up at the side of the road safely. Another feature it’ll be getting is a display on steering wheel which will be touch-sensitive display with haptic feedback to control the functions of the instrument cluster, and few functions of the infotainment system. It’ll have haptic feedback to make it feel like you’re touching/pressing a button on the steering wheel.

Safari Facelift will get Front Parking Sensors to help you park safely without hitting any object, 2-zone climate control for better ventilation, and cooling, and for that it’ll get new screen which will be touch-sensitive to control the climate control and positioned on the center console, and park assist that will help you park your SUV properly. Lastly, it’ll be getting a new 1.5-litre turbo petrol 4-cylinder engine producing 168 bhp and 280 Nm of torque mated to 6-speed Manual and 6-speed torque converter Automatic gearbox.
