Mahindra has been consistently testing the XUV300 Facelift, and was spotted numerous times. In those spy shots, many details about the SUV came to light, like it’ll get the 10.25-inch infotainment system, first-in segment panoramic sunroof, big C-shaped LED DRLs, and so much more. But today, we’ll be comparing the XUV300 Facelift against the recently launched Tata Nexon Facelift to see after the update, what features it misses out on, and how this gives the Mahindra XUV300 an edge over its rival. We’ll list down all the 5 missing features –
The first missing feature is the ADAS. Very recently, the XUV300 Facelift was spotted with ADAS Module, and it’s possible it could limited ADAS features such as Lane Departure Warning, Forward Collision Warning, Lane Keep Assist, and few more. However, it unlikely it’ll get Adaptive Cruise Control. The updated Nexon Facelift doesn’t get this feature and this could be due to no demand for it. Hyundai has offered in the Venue, and now Mahindra will be the next to do so.
Next feature the Nexon misses out on is Rear Disc Brakes. When driving, we don’t know what all of a sudden could happen, like a person comes in front of the car, and you need to brake immediately; that’s when disc brakes are good, because it comparison to drum brakes, at least the breaking distance will be way less compared to the drums. The 3rd feature Nexon misses is the 2-zone Climate Control which at the moment even the other rivals of XUV300 aren’t offering, so that makes it somewhat special. The Dual-zone climate control is great as the front passenger and driver can set different temperatures for themselves, like the passenger wants to be cool, it can set the temperature at that, and driver wants to stay warm, he can set the temperature at that degree.
The 4th feature it misses is the panoramic sunroof. Mahindra is stepping the features game by offering another first-in segment that no rivals will offer anytime soon. Last but not the least, sunglass holder, which may not be a big feature, but still the Nexon in the update fails to offer.
