Tata has enhanced this hatchback with new features, prioritizing safety and convenience for consumers, thereby ensuring its competitiveness against its rival, the Comet EV. Yes, you guessed it correctly—it’s the Tata Tiago EV, now equipped with a host of new features.
The affordable electric car from the brand in India has received a significant update, addressing much-needed enhancements. The Tiago EV now boasts Automatic Climate Control, Auto-Dimming IRVM, and a Front USB C Type (45W) Charger. Additionally, it features the new flat 2D Tata logo in white, similar to the one seen on the recently launched Punch EV.

The Auto-Dimming IRVM is useful feature that automatically reduces glare from headlights of vehicles behind you. Automatic Climate Control regulates the temperature inside the cabin and maintains the comfortable environment without manual adjustment. With the drastic increase in charging speeds of today’s flagship phones, fast charging is indeed needed and a 45W Front USB-C Charger is a welcome feature.
Other than that, there are no changes. The Tiago EV gets two battery packs – 19.2 kWh and 24 kWh with range between 250 – 300 KMs. It’s sold in 5 variants – XE, XT, XZ+, and XZ+ Lux. Trims XE and XT gets the Medium Range 19.2 kWh battery pack while trims from XT to XZ+ LUX gets the Long Range 24 kWh battery pack. The Tiago EV competes with the likes of MG Comet EV, and the Citroen eC3.
Top features of the EV include 7-inch Infotainment System with Wireless Android Auto and Apple Carplay, Cooled Glovebox, Projector Headlamps, Fog Lamps, Driving Modes, Rear Defogger, Auto-Dimming IRVM, Auto Climate Control, etc. and more.
