The Maruti Invicto is now available with significant benefits for the first time since its launch last year, offering savings of up to Rs. 1.25 lakh. This rebadged version of the Toyota Innova HyCross provides attractive deals on its top-end Alpha+ variant. Buyers can avail a Rs. 1 lakh discount by opting for Maruti’s in-house finance services, along with an additional Rs. 25,000 exchange bonus when trading in another Maruti vehicle.
After applying the discounts, the effective price of the top-spec Alpha+ 7-seater variant drops from Rs. 28.92 lakh to Rs. 27.67 lakh. Comparatively, the equivalent Innova HyCross ZX(O) Hybrid variant is priced at Rs. 30.98 lakh. This means the Invicto Alpha+ now offers a price difference of Rs. 3.31 lakh over the HyCross, giving customers substantial savings. While the Invicto does come with fewer features than the HyCross, it still offers excellent comfort, spacious interiors, competitive mileage, and advanced equipment.
The Maruti Invicto is powered by a 2.0-litre petrol engine paired with Toyota’s hybrid technology, generating a combined output of 184 bhp and 209 Nm of peak torque. With an ARAI-certified fuel efficiency of approximately 24 km/l, the Invicto stands out as an efficient choice in the premium MPV segment.
Feature highlights include front ventilated seats, electrically adjustable front seats, captain chairs in the second row, a 7-inch digital driver display, and a 10.25-inch touchscreen infotainment system. The Invicto also offers dual-zone climate control, an electric parking brake with auto-hold, and a panoramic sunroof, enhancing its appeal for families and long-distance travelers.
With the new discount, the Maruti Invicto becomes a compelling option for those looking for a premium hybrid MPV at a competitive price. Although it may lack a few high-end features available in the HyCross, the significant savings combined with Maruti’s reliable after-sales network make it a smart alternative. The Rs. 1.25 lakh discount not only improves its value proposition but also positions it as a strong competitor in the hybrid MPV space.
