At first position is the Tata Punch with 17,547 Unit Sales which is down from the 18,438 units sold in February 2024 resulting in 4.83% decline. Tata in January launched the Punch EV which has given a big boost to Punch sales resulting in such number. Despite being affordable, the EV version packs features like 360 View Camera, Ventilated Seats, Dual 10.25-inch Displays, Hill Descent Control, and so much more. These features will get carried forward to the ICE version facelift, coming soon in 2025.
At 2nd Position is the new Hyundai Creta with 16,458 units which is a significant growth for the SUV over the February 2024 sales. Hyundai had launched the Creta Facelift in January, and the Creta N-Line in March. The demand for the SUV is at a all time high thanks to its luxurious update which is appealing to the Indian consumers.
The next 3 vehicles are the Wagon R, Dzire, Swift, and the Baleno finishing 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th respectively. WagonR sales dipped to 16,358 units from the 19,412 units in February 2024 which is a de-growth by 15.73%. Dzire and Swift both reports positive growth by 0.36% and 19.47% respectively. Both these cars are set to receive the new-generation update in coming months with Swift being the first to launch followed by the Dzire launch few weeks after that. Baleno reported drop in sales to 15,588 units from 17,517 units in Feb.
Mahindra Scorpio finished 7th with 15,151 units growth which is 100 units growth over February. Maruti Ertiga and Brezza finished 8th and 9th with 14,888 units and 14,614 units sales with both reporting decline in sales. Lastly, Tata Nexon finished last at 10th position with 14,058 units with drop in volume by 337 units.
