At first position is the Tata Punch with 17,547 Unit Sales which is down from the 18,438 units it sold in February 2024 resulting 4.83% decline. Tata in January launched the Punch EV which has given a big boost to Punch sales resulting in such number. Despite being affordable, the EV version packs features like 360 View Camera, Ventilated Seats, Dual 10.25-inch Displays, Sunroof, Hill Descent Control, and so much more. These features will get carried forward to the ICE version facelift update, coming soon in 2025.
At 2nd Position is the Hyundai Creta with 16,458 units which is a significant growth by 7.74% over the February 2024. Hyundai had launched the Creta Facelift in January, and the Creta N-Line in March. The demand for the SUV is at a all time high thanks to its luxurious update which is appealing to the Indian consumers. Moving on, Mahindra Scorpio finished 3rd in table with 15,151 unit sales with 100 units growth over February.
The competition between Mahindra Scorpio and Hyundai Creta has intensified with Scorpio often swap positions, but for the past two months, Hyundai is holding on keeping Scorpio behind. Maruti Suzuki Brezza suffered a downfall by 7.30% as it sales dropped to 14,614 units from 15,765 units in February. Tata Nexon finished behind the Brezza with 14,058 unit sales which is down by 2.34% over the February sales.
Tata Nexon often finished ahead of Brezza in sales, but this time it fall behind the Brezza by big margin. At 6th position we got the Fronx with 12,531 units which is down by 11.55% compared to Feb where it sold 14,168 units. Maruti Grand Vitara at 7th position reports positive growth with 11,232 units sales, Mahindra Bolero reports 10,347 units which is a 2.31% growth over February.
The Venue and Sonet finished at 9th and 10th position with 9,614 units and 8,933 units respectively. The Cumulative top 10 SUVs sales was 1,30,302 units.
