By the end of this year, MG plans to launch an updated Gloster that will compete with other vehicles in its class and the legendary Fortuner from Toyota. This will gain new tech features along with an improvement to the design.
New MG Gloster
Its design silhouette will resemble that of the current Gloster.
The new front and back fascias will be part of the updated appearance.
New projectors and a redesigned bumper will be added, along with a new front grille.
A new alloy wheel design will result in some stylistic changes to the side profile.
There will be a significant redesign to the back profile, including an aggressive SUV-style rear end and a new LED-connected taillamp.
With a few design changes, the inside dashboard arrangement will remain the same. It is anticipated to have a new touchscreen infotainment system, tonnes of new connectivity, contemporary amenities, and sumptuous leatherette upholstery.
It will receive ADAS Level 2 along with extra safety features and enhancements.
The 2.0-liter turbo-diesel engine (158.79 bhp, 373.5 nm) and the 2.2-liter twin-turbo diesel engine (212.55 bhp, 478.5 nm) will be equipped with an 8-speed automatic gearbox under the hood.
