Top 5 Features of Kia Seltos Facelift That Kills It’s Rival Hyundai Creta!

Kia Seltos Facelift

We’re getting closer to the unveil of the Indian-Spec Kia Seltos Facelift on July 4th, and it’s going to be a major update for the mid-size SUV. Kia is bringing big updates to the Seltos to take on it’s rivals – Hyundai Creta, Maruti Grand Vitara, Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder, Volkswagen Taigun, and Skoda Kushaq. Therefore, before it officially launches, here are the top 5 features that Seltos will definitely have –

ADAS

As already seen in the spy shots of Kia testing the Seltos facelift in India, it’ll definitely come with ADAS with Level 2 features – Lane Keep Assist, Lane Departure Warning, Blind Spot Detection, Forward Collision Detection, Auto High Beam Assist, Driver Attention Warning, Rear Traffic Collision Avoidance Assist, Adaptive Cruise Control, and few more. It uses the radar sensors that is placed just above the front bumpers in a square shape, and camera at the top of the windshield to see the road ahead for you.

Dual Displays

Kia has redesign the Seltos facelift dashboard and not it’s one big unit with two 10.25-inch displays similar to the one in Mahindra XUV700. One Display is for the digital instrument cluster and one for the infotainment system with Wireless Android Auto/Apple Carplay connectivity. The digital instrument cluster displays fuel gauge, warning and indicator lights, temperature gauge for engine, speedometer, tachometer, and distance range.

Powered Tailgate

Kia will introduce powered tailgate feature for the Seltos facelift as it’s useful for people when their hands are full of holding things. Currently, none of it’s rivals has this feature on offer making it another first-in segment feature for the Seltos. The powered tailgate opens just by the press of a button that is underneath the light bar, or buy pressing the button of the key of the vehicle.

Panoramic Sunroof & Electric Parking Brake

The Current Seltos in India has a single-pane sunroof and no electric parking brake. Well, this is about to change as Kia is set to update the Seltos with Panoramic Sunroof to bring in more light in the cabin and for the aiery feeling, and electric parking camera with auto hold function so you don’t have to manually pull up and down the parking brake.

Heated Seats [Expected]

In many international markets, Kia offers Seltos facelift with heated seats. It is possible that the upcoming Indian-Spec Seltos could get heated seats for the driver and passenger as the heated seats is an amazing feature after the ventilated seats. If Kia ends up adding the Heated Seats for Indian-Spec Seltos, it’ll be another first-in segment feature which is bad news for it’s rivals as the SUV will be uncatchable in features, and probably help them in bring-in great numbers in sales to take down it’s rivals.
