Toyota’s April sales figure out, sold over 15000 units

The sales figures for April by Toyota have been released and Toyota has sold over 15000 units

 Toyota cars are respected for the reliability they offer, we have seen some previous generation Innovas and Fortuners that had run over 100000kms or 150000kms, or even in some rare cases 200000kms, and that’s the whole reason why people still opt for Toyota cars. Now, Toyota has released its April sales figures. It can be observed that Toyota has sold more than 15000units in this month and as mentioned above, all thanks to the Toyota Fortuner, Toyota Innova Crysta, Toyota Innova Hycross, and Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder which has the major share of 82% overall in the month. In detail, Toyota has sold 15510 units in this month which includes 14,162 domestic sales and 1348 units of export. Toyota has faced 26% of domestic sales growth from January 2023 till April 2023.

Starting with the Toyota Fortuner. The Toyota Fortuner had been in the market for a long time now because of its reliability. In today’s time, the Toyota Fortuner is powered by 2 engine options, one is the 2.8L turbocharged i4 diesel engine that produces 201bhp of maximum power and 420nm of maximum torque, and the engine is mated to a manual transmission. The second engine option is a 2.7L NA i4 Petrol engine that produces 164bhp of maximum power and 245nm of maximum torque. The engine is mated to a 5-speed MT gearbox.

Toyota Innova Crysta

The Toyota Innova Crysta is the only rear-wheel drive MPV in the market, it is powered by a 2.4L i4 Turbocharged diesel engine that chunks out 148bhp and 343nm of torque. Earlier there was a petrol engine too but Toyota had it discontinued on the Innova Crysta.

Toyota Innova Hycross

Toyota Innova Hycross is a hybrid front-wheel drive car MPV by Toyota which is powered by a 2.0L i4 NA petrol engine that produces 173bhp of maximum power and 209nm of torque. The other engine is a hybrid engine option that is it gets the same 2.0L engine but here it produces 184bhp and 188nm of maximum torque. This being a hybrid it gives an average of around 23.24kmpl (ARAI).

Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder

The Toyota Urban Cruiser Hyryder has a wide range of options that includes a mildhybrid+petrol engine, Petro+hybid, and Petrol+Cng. Starting with the standard Mild Hybrid+petrol engine, it has a 1.5L NA 4-cylinder petrol engine that produces 102bhp and 136nm of maximum torque, this has a mild hybrid technology for slightly better range and power. The next engine is a Strong hybrid + petrol engine that produces 91bhp and 122nm of maximum torque, it has a separate battery which has 177Volt power. It also gets a CNG variant for better range, it gets the same 1.5L 4-cylinder NA Engine that is paired with CNG and produces 87bhp and 121nm of maximum torque.
