At the front of the Fortuner, there is the grille in three horizontal lines with chrome elements going at the side and covering the LED headlamps on both the sides, below is the bumper finished in faux silver skid plate both front and rear. The Toyota Fortuner has two diesel and one petrol engine on offer. It uses the 2.8-litre diesel engine that puts out 201 bhp and 500 Nm of torque paired to 6-speed iMT Transmission or 6-speed Sequential Shift Automatic Transmission. The second diesel is the same 2.8-litre diesel engine with 201 bhp except it has 420 Nm of torque paired to the same transmissions. The Scorpio-N as one diesel and one petrol on offer with different power and torque output for different variants. The 2.2-litre turbo diesel produces 130.07 bhp and 300 Nm for the entry-level variants, other variants have 172.45 bhp and 370 Nm for Manual Transmission, and 172.45 bhp and 400 Nm of torque for Automatic Transmission. This turbo diesel engine is mated to a 6-speed Manual Transmission and 6-speed Automatic Transmission and has a top speed of 165 kmph.
The other is the 2.0-litre turbo petrol engine which produces 200 bhp and 370 Nm of torque for Manual Transmission variants, and 200 bhp and 380 Nm of torque for Automatic Transmission variants. As you can see at the features list, the Fortuner misses out on Sunroof which the Fortuner does get. The Fortuner gets 6-speaker standard sound system where as the Scorpio-N is much better as it offers 12-speaker Sony 3D Sound System. As you can see at the safety features, Toyota Fortuner misses out on front parking camera, automatic headlamps, Tyre-Pressure Monitoring System (TPMS), and Electronic Stability Control (ESC) which the Scorpio-N does have on offer.
