Toyota has launched a new top-spec petrol only variant for the Innova Hycross, GX(O) which is priced between Rs. 20.99 – Rs. 21.13 Lakh and it’s available in both 7 and 8 Seater Configuration.
The Hycross GX (O) costs Rs. 1 Lakh extra compared to the GX variant. This extra cost brings several additional features and enhancements to the MPV such as front LED Fog Lamps, Front Parking Sensors, a 360 Surround View Camera, and a Rear Defogger. Inside, the cabin receives a chestnut-themed interior, soft-touch materials on the dashboard and doors, and upgraded fabric seat covers. Comfort and convenience are further amplified with the inclusion of automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch infotainment with Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto.

However, the 8 Seater Configuration of the GX (O) does miss out on some of these features present in the 7 Seater variant such as the 10.1-inch touchscreen, Wireless Apple Carplay & Android Auto, and a retractable rear sunshade. Thus explaining the slightly higher pricing of the 7 Seater variant at Rs 21.13 Lakh, compared to the 8 Seater trim..
Toyota offers the Hycross GX (O) in 7 Colour Options – Blackish Ageha Glass Flake, Platinum White Pearl, Attitude Black Mica, Sparkling Black Pearl Crystal Shine, Silver Metallic, Super White, and Avant Garde Bronze Metallic; providing customers with a range of choices to suit their preferences. Under the hood, the SUV is powered by the 2.0 L Petrol Engine delivering 172.99 BHP, 205 NM Torque mated to a CVT Gearbox.
The HyCross doesn’t have a direct petrol-powered MPV rivals but it still competes with the likes of 7 Seater SUVs such as Hyundai Alcazar, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, Mahindra XUV700, etc; while the Petrol Hybrid Hycross directly competes with the Maruti Invicto.
