Toyota India has launched their luxurious and feature loaded MPV at an ex showroom price of Rs. 79.5 Lakhs.Bookings for the MPV were already open at a token sum of Rs. 10 Lakhs.The Toyota MPV is offered in a single executive lounge variant and has been brought via the CBU unit.It has been already sold out for 3 months which means 60 units per month out of the total 180 units and Toyota India also mentions that 20% of the bookings have been from Hyderabad.
In terms of dimensions, it measures 4935 mm in length, has got a width and height of 1850 mm and 1895 mm respectively.Wheelbase stands at 3000 mm while the gross vehicle weight is 2815 kg.Fuel tank capacity is 58 L and the MPV rides on 225 / 60 R17 hyper chrome alloys.It has got a seating capacity of 7.Toyota India might introduce more seating configuration variants on a later stage.
The MPV features Automatic LED headlamps with DRLs and tail lamps, elegantly designed front grille, front fog lamps in triangular housing, chrome door handles, 17 inch alloys.You have the choice of two interior options.Vellfire gets captain seats in the second row, big size rear entertainment screen, dual sunroof, JBL speakers, ventilated, powered seats with memory function among others.Colour Options includes Pearl White, Graphite, Black and Burning Black
Under the Bonnet, it gets 2.5 L Petrol hybrid engine with a capacity of 2494 cc which produces 115 BHP @ 4700 RPM and 198 NM @ 2800 – 4000 RPM.It gets a 141 BHP motor at the front and 67 BHP motor at the rear, which translates into combined power close to 200 BHP.It gets an all wheel drive system and the fuel efficiency is rated at 16.35 kmpl.
